According to the Public Relations of the National Informatics Corporation, Dr. Alireza Mahyar, during the closing ceremony of the CASH24 cybersecurity event, which was held in collaboration with Shaparak Electronic Payment Network Company and the National Informatics Academy (Acadino), said: “Holding such events for the first time requires high courage and has its own specific challenges.”
He reminded the audience of the vastness of the Shaparak payment network and stated: “It is due to the efforts of experts and specialists in the payment industry that hundreds of millions of transactions are processed daily in the country’s banking network, keeping the network stable.”
The CEO of the National Informatics Corporation referred to two key topics: security and economy. He said: “Today, security and economy alone cannot solve the country’s problems. However, economic security is the key to addressing these challenges.”
Dr. Mahyar further noted: “To achieve 8?onomic growth, we need hundreds of thousands of billion tomans (several billion dollars) in foreign investment. Without financial security and investment protection, it is impossible to attract capital and achieve sustainable economic growth.”
He stressed the need for every organization to have a strategy in place for financial and economic security.
The CEO of the National Informatics Corporation highlighted: “The national security strategy of many countries, including the United States, is closely linked to their economic security.”
Dr. Mahyar pointed out: “In recent years, we have faced several security challenges, and we must strive to prevent such incidents from recurring in the coming years.”
He added: “In addition to having a strategy, we must engage skilled and committed human resources. Fortunately, there are many graduates available in the country.”
He continued: “To recruit graduates and university experts into regulatory organizations, platforms such as Acadino and events like CASH24 will be very helpful.”
It should be noted that the CASH24 event, which was focused on cybersecurity challenges, particularly in the payment and banking sectors, was held in two sections: competition and conference. It was organized with the participation of Shaparak and Acadino.
