According to the Public Relations of the National Informatics Corporation, Nasrin Haghjo, regarding the presence of the National Informatics Academy (Acadino) and Informatics Services Corporation, which are part of the National Informatics Corporation, at the Sadra Fair at Islamic Azad University, said: “Fortunately, universities are now hosting career fairs and opening their doors to the industry.”
She added: “Industries always welcome these events at universities because they are one of the best opportunities to meet the young generation who will shape the future.”
The Director of Acadino highlighted the importance of training skilled human resources in the country, saying: “One of Acadino’s main goals is to train specialists for the banking and payment industries. This is why we always welcome events like career fairs held in universities.”
She explained that career fairs give industries a chance to meet young people, adding: “We use these fairs to introduce the banking and payment industries to the youth, answer their questions, and present our business and the payment and banking ecosystem through booth activities and catalogs. We also provide forms to identify their skills, talents, and abilities.”
Haghjo mentioned that the Sadra Fair, held at the Science and Research Branch of Islamic Azad University under the title “Industry, University, and Employment Pathways,” is one of the most important university activities. She said: “The banking and payment industries are also taking part in the Sadra Fair, with the Informatics Services Corporation and Acadino, subsidiaries of the National Informatics Corporation, being present.”
The Acadino Director hopes that, like in previous years, the academy will receive strong resumes from students and engage them in career path programs, internships, and specialized boot camps.
The Challenge of Attracting and Training Skilled Workers
In another part of her talk about the Sadra Fair, she said: “Without a doubt, one of the biggest challenges for different industries today is attracting and training skilled and young workers. I think academies in different industries can help solve this challenge and turn it into an opportunity.”
Haghjo continued: “Today’s young people feel disconnected from industries and their work. These students are part of Generation Z, and their idea of a work environment is different.”
The Acadino Director added: “We regularly organize events for companies on how to manage human resources for Generation Z.”
She said: “Acadino is working to address this challenge by designing personalized career path training for Generation Z, and we hope to inspire the younger generation to join the banking and payment industries.”
