The text of Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian’s decree for Dr. Mohammad Reza Farzin reads as follows:

Dear Mr. Mohammad Reza Farzin,
In accordance with the resolution dated December 29, 2022, of the Council of Ministers, and in implementation of paragraphs “2” and “3” of the resolution dated November 15, 2014, by the Expediency Discernment Council regarding the administration of the Central Bank of the Islamic Republic of Iran, your appointment as the Governor of the Central Bank of the Islamic Republic of Iran is hereby confirmed and extended until the end of the term.
It is hoped that with trust in the Almighty God and within the framework of the Constitution, the Vision Document objectives, and the general policies approved by the Supreme Leader (may his shadow be prolonged), while adhering to the ethical charter of the 14th government officials and interaction with the esteemed Council of Ministers, you will diligently strive to achieve the government’s objectives and resolve the nation’s challenges.
I beseech Almighty God for your success in fulfilling your assigned duties appropriately.
