According to the National Informatics Corporation's Public Relations report, Dr. "Alireza Mahyar", at the beginning of his speech at the "Digital Governance in Banking and Insurance Systems" specialized session of the second National Conference on Digital Transformation, Banking, and Insurance, condemned the terrorist attacks in Kerman during the anniversary of General Qasem Soleimani's martyrdom. He expressed condolences to the Supreme Leader, the grieving families, and the people of Iran.
He continued by stating that digital transformation, facilitated by the use of modern technology tools including artificial intelligence, payments, and value creation, leads to increased capacities in various sectors. Digital transformation has aided in connecting citizens to the CORE of banking and insurance, allowing these industries to serve both industrial and domestic businesses.
The CEO of the National Informatics Corporation further stated: Some believe that with the development of technology and artificial intelligence, jobs will be eliminated or reduced. However, it is predicted that by 2030, about 130 million new jobs in the field of artificial intelligence will be created.
Referring to new statistics from McKinsey, he said: In 2023, the total investment in artificial intelligence worldwide was around 500 billion dollars, and it is expected to grow by approximately 30% annually.
Dr. Mahyar, who chaired this specialized session, emphasized: The National Informatics Corporation, as the technological arm of the Central Bank, has established its technology hub across government companies and subsidiaries. According to the memorandum of understanding signed with the Vice Presidency for Science and Technology, we are ready to empower knowledge-based companies in the field of payments and new methods in services and governance.
