Dr. Mahyar at the Acadino Inauguration Ceremony: The Banking Ecosystem is Moving Towards the Use of Artificial Intelligence / The Possibility of Identifying and Attracting Fintech and Innovation Ecosystem Specialists at Acadino

According to the public relations office of the National Informatics Corporation, Dr. Alireza Mahyar made these remarks this morning (Wednesday, May 8) during the inauguration ceremony of the "National Informatics Academy (AkaDino)." The event was attended by Dr. Ali Divandari, a well-respected figure in the banking system, Dr. Mohammad Shirijian, Deputy Economic Officer of the Central Bank, CEOs, and board members of the National Informatics Group, IT managers from banks, and active members of the payment and startup industries.

Highlighting the necessity of enhancing skills and attracting specialized personnel in the banking system to advance smart banking, he announced that the National Informatics Group, with its 3,400 specialists, will be a potential employer for the graduates of the National Informatics Academy.

Dr. Mahyar noted that, based on approximate statistics, the number of professionals in the fintech, monetary, banking, stock, and insurance ecosystems is nearly 1.5 million. However, this number is significantly lower than the capacity required for the digital economy era, including fourth-generation banking.

The CEO of the National Informatics Corporation pointed out the imbalance in the inflow and outflow of IT specialists in banks and payment companies, stating that with specialists considering migration, the academy will provide opportunities to identify, attract, and employ these individuals.

He continued, "Based on the collaboration the National Informatics Academy has had with various universities, we have received a database of top talents in recent months, which is a valuable resource for starting our work."

Dr. Mahyar expressed hope that with the launch of the National Informatics Academy, the country will witness the flourishing and utilization of talents in the payment industry, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and strategic areas.

It is noteworthy that the National Informatics Academy, as the first scientific, research, and innovation arm in the banking industry, was launched today with the aim of providing and training specialized personnel in modern banking technologies. The growth path of the National Informatics Academy is designed to keep all financial ecosystem activists in the country informed about the latest services offered by domestic and foreign competitors.

This academy aims to enhance the knowledge and scientific level of individuals to introduce itself as the first scientific, research, and innovation arm in the banking industry in the future, modeling the concept of modern international banking. By utilizing articles and ideas from rapidly advancing academies, it plans to hold intelligent personal training courses for the staff of Iran’s banking network, focusing on enhancing their knowledge.

The activities and services of the National Informatics Academy include internships, the academy's boot camp, training, career paths, and specialized and management courses. The academy plans to attract elite students at various levels in major banking and IT corporations and simultaneously employ them in work fields, contributing to organizational growth and reducing corporate costs.

The main structure of the academy includes specialized training groups, an idea acceleration group, a university relations group (internships and boot camps), an international meetings organizing group, and a specialized content production group.
