According to the Public Relations Office of the National Informatics Corporation, Dr. Alireza Mahyar, the CEO of the National Informatics Corporation, stated at the signing ceremony: “We have a cooperation program with universities on innovative projects in the banking sector as part of our agenda.”
He referred to the new Central Bank law and the responsibilities assigned to the National Informatics Group, stating: “One of these responsibilities is the establishment of an Artificial Intelligence Center. Given the high capacity of Amir Kabir University of Technology, we have the opportunity to collaborate on innovative projects and artificial intelligence with this university. Additionally, with the launch of the academy, we have rolled out the red carpet to attract talented graduates and students from universities, including Amir Kabir University of Technology, to the National Informatics Group.”
Following this, Dr. Alireza Rahaei, Head of Amir Kabir University of Technology, highlighted the university’s significant capabilities in artificial intelligence, software engineering, and electrical engineering, saying: “Currently, a central core of 25 professors in software engineering and electrical engineering has been formed at the university, and we are fully prepared to collaborate with the banking system in the necessary areas.”
He also mentioned the “Simorgh Amir Kabir Supercomputer” and added: “With the deployment of this supercomputer, which is based on cloud computing technology, we hope to establish joint collaborations with the banking system, especially with the National Informatics Corporation.”
