According to the National Informatics Corporation's Public Relations, Dr. "Alireza Mahyar," during his visit to the SADRA Exhibition (Industry, University, Employment Pathway) at the Islamic Azad University's Science and Research Unit, stated: "In the National Informatics Group, we are striving to expand our relationships in technology and innovation with universities, professors, academic staff, and university graduates."
He mentioned that, given the central role of the National Informatics Group in the banking system and banking network, there is a need for greater interaction with the innovation sector and academia. "We have previously announced our intention to establish innovation hubs in all university units, and the Science and Research Unit of the Islamic Azad University was among the first to welcome this initiative," he added.
The CEO emphasized the readiness of the National Informatics Group to recruit students and graduates with a greater affinity for the business sector in areas such as software, hardware, and particularly artificial intelligence.
Referring to the presence of the Informatics Services Company at the SADRA Exhibition and the enthusiastic response from students and academic elites, he said: "Since the beginning of the SADRA Exhibition, we have received over a thousand academic resumes. Our mission is to support productions in software, networking, and artificial intelligence-based products."
Dr. Mahyar noted that the Informatics Services Company, as the organizer of programming competitions at the SADRA Exhibition, has a significant presence, planning several competitions for university teams. These competitions have been well-received by students specializing in software and programming.
He considered such competitions as a means to attract elite talents into the payment systems and banking network. "We have informed the officials of the Islamic Azad University about our new plans and missions, especially in smart banking and artificial intelligence, and are ready to recruit 50 specialized talents monthly into the subsidiaries of the National Informatics Group to inject youthfulness and elitism," he added.
Dr. Mahyar also mentioned smart banking as a focus area of Dr. Farzin, the Central Bank's governor, stating: "To operationalize this mission, we must identify talented individuals and employ their excellent plans and ideas within the framework of the innovation hub."
The CEO of the National Informatics Corporation expressed hope that, following agreements and negotiations with the officials of the Islamic Azad University, the innovation hub of the National Informatics Group and the Science and Research Unit would be jointly established inside this academic unit by the end of the year.
He continued: "Additionally, we are discussing the establishment of the National Informatics Group Academy, and we anticipate employing many elite forces within the framework of this academy across the companies of the National Informatics Group."
It is noteworthy that the SADRA Exhibition (Industry, University, Employment Pathway) is being held for the first time from December 23-26, 2023, in the Central Library Building (late Dr. Habibi) of the Science and Research Unit, with around 60 active companies in industry, society, students, and job-seeking graduates participating.
The main goal of this event is to introduce university graduates and students to the industrial sector by identifying the industries' pre-existing needs and to facilitate collaboration in areas of research, development, investment, and specialized services between the university and industry.
